Barbara Bentley is an engaging author. This book is a pleasure to read. And I have read biographical accounts that though interesting, are a challenge to get through. Not this. The prose was excellent. Her story is not just one of betrayal by another, but cautionary tale of how we sometimes can betray ourselves. And it was a journey of messes we sometimes find ourselves in, even when our intentions are good. Loved the book. It was as inspiring as it was interesting.
