**Girls Cotton Camisole Dance Leotard - Soft Stretchy Ballet Leotard for Kids - Perfect for Ballet, Gymnastics & Dance Classes (Style N5500C)**

i have been purchasing this item for a about 3 years now and its a good product however the increase in price is discouraging, especially when you have to purchase for a large group of girls. on that premise my rating has been reduced to three stars. there is a pandemic why raise the price? just sayingThe straps do little to compensate for the odd fit of the upper body portion. Space for legs was a good fit and there is no gaping in the back.Underarm area could be lower. Her chest looks bare when the arms fit correctly. Too little of a shape on top for fitment. Straps could be sewn closer together in back and away from back of arm for movement.Daughter is of athletic build, long torso/arms/legs and wears a 10/12 in Cat and Jack, Old Navy etc. We purchased size LC.This leotard is pretty, covers up the chest nicely, and is very durable. The only downfall is that my child is not "tall" enough for it yet, so the straps keep falling off her shoulders. Perhaps another year and she'll fit perfectly...if we can keep her from putting it on everyday in the meantime!!!This leotard can go either way. My smaller-framed daughter has no complaints about it, but she is pretty easy-going. My other daugher couldn't bare to wear it and I had to purchase a different one. She is bigger built so I may have just needed a bigger size, but her main complaint was a very large seam that runs down the center of the back. She is very picky when it comes to the comfort of clothes and loves to say, "it bothers me" to half of her wardrobe.The quality is great and I like that the front is lined. Maybe I should of sized up or my daughter just has a wide back but, the straps fit a bit weird. Seems like they should of been brought in towards the center. It serves its purpose but, the back area fits awkward.I do like the camisole leotard my only complaint is that even on the tightest it can go with the adjustable straps, it falls off my daughter's shoulders constantly and she is not short. Fits everywhere else snugly. Just not the straps so when she performs it looks sloppy there..The fit was okay. The straps fall far out on the shoulder and my daughter complained that the straps were not staying up. For the 3 minute dance routine she needs it for, she will get over it.My daughter liked the idea of this leotard, but it doesn't fit quite right. She is 8, thin framed, average height.Pluses: Wide across the seat so it doesn't "creep up", adjustable shoulder straps, cotton-rich fabric and sturdy construction.Minuses: Short in the torso, and cut a bit wide. Large seam up the back.
