I've never owned dancing shoes so I wasn't sure what to expect. These were very very comfortable. The strap while a little difficult to reach held well with flexibility during movement. When I first put them on I said uh oh my toe is going to come out or have a blister. However that didn't happen while we tried out a few dances. And I quickly didn't notice the initial worry. What IS a problem however is the are just a tad short on the length. We remeasured my foot and my larger foot is nearly exactly 24cms. Which normally translates to a size 7.5. According to their size chart it's actually a size 7. but when I put ON the shoe my toes are just barely off the edge of the shoe. Not enough that it's uncomfortable but enough that it looks as if I've stuck my foot in a shoe too small in some vain attempt to try to pretend I have smaller feet than I do.As I've found with most of the dancing shoes under $45 the suede looks like an afterthought the way it is tacked on their, but you don't really notice while on your foot. But it looks like a bad glue job if you just look at the shoe alone.I'm quite happy with the shoe and I "can" wear them dancing, but I'll be looking for a pair that fits just a bit better.UPDATE:I wore them to dance class today. and in speaking with the instructor I found out that typically dance shoes are short at the toe to allow you to "dig in" and that many dancers trim their shoes. So I suppose the fit is perfect. I found them very easy to dance in although I did tend to knock down on the heel when walking making a bit of a clack sound. But I attribute that to user error. The toe piece was noticeable up until we started moving and not after. All around it is a solid buy. I find the flappy strap a bit annoying but it did not impair dancing in any way. Just when viewed when not walking you notice it just kind of hangs off around the buckle.Comfort for wear and dancing was fine, except for toes slipping out too far on front of shoe, maybe I need larger size?Of the 5, 2 pairs got lost in transit, fortunately they rushed the 2 extra pairs and got them in time for my daughter's event, the bad is that they were too big, even though they were clearly mark as the correct size. Had to buy 2 pairs locally, paid a little more, but at least I got thru my daughter's event.Thank you for putting up the effort, will definitely keep them in mind for future buysI LOVE these shoes. I bought gold ones first and came back to buy silver and black too. Im a typical size 7 with average width. I bought 7s and they fit amazing. Toe straps have some extra room so they're not squeezing or rubbing on my toes. Heels feel pretty stable and not wobbly. They look really pretty and are so comfy. I just got them so I haven't danced in them yet. I will update this comment if they fall apart but I've been dancing in social dancing shoes for 4 years now and I have faith in these. You can't beat it for the price. I will get a second black pair before they disappear from amazon.PS FOR NON DANCERS: please dont buy dance shoes and leave comical comments complaining about the buckle or the sole. I see this wayy too often. There's nothing wrong with the buckle. Its supposed to be like a hook. Its pretty typical among social shoes. There's also nothing wrong with the soles. They're supposed to be flexible and made of leather+&suede.I didn’t feel secure. A little big and I felt wobbly when I wear the shoes,I purchased these for a costume and wore them at a convention center, so I used my regular street shoe size. They were incredibly comfortable and I was amazed at the quality! I was a competitive ballroom dancer 15 years ago and these are the same quality shoes that I paid over $100 dollars for in 2006. If you are purchasing these for dancing, you will definitely want to go down a few sizes. If you're getting them for fashion/costume you're probably good with either your street size or down 1/2 size. Be aware that the sole is suede.I read some reviews that said to size up so that’s what I did. I’m usually a size 8.5 but if a shoe is more narrow I do size up. The size 9 is comfortable but a little bit loose around the ankle, so I could have done a 8.5. I just don’t have enough time to order another pair. I would recommend ordering both sizes and try them on just to be sure. They are super flexible and look just like the pictures. I did cut off about 2 inches of the shoes strap because it was too long. Very happy with these shoes.Taking dance lessons... havent worn a heel since retirement.. these are sooo comfortable!El modelo es bonito y se siente cómodo, el detalle es, que después de un par de horas el dedo meñique se sale por in lado y esto es un poco incómodo. La calidad es buena en relación al precio.
