These shoes are okay in terms of quality. They have a proper level of grippiness for contra dancing on a wood floor -- that is, they're not too grippy. But they're very inelegant-looking. They look like shapeless blobs on my feet.I take women's size 8 narrow. The size 8 fits me fairly well, although these shoes are cut wider than other brands.I'm returning them because, while they're suitable in every other way, they look too clunky on my feet. They don't make me feel like dancing.Great value for price...little more slick on bottom than higher priced shoe..good for recital practice and recital....only going to be worn twice so ok value...runs small....my daughter barely wears a child's 2....ordered 4.5 and fit fits right now....I have always worn a 8.5 shoe so that is what I ordered. Took shoes out box this week(past return time) only to find out they are too darn small!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS ? !!!!!!#
