Best Women's GS601 Jazz Shoes for Dance Class - Comfortable Center Gore Design for Ballet, Tap & Modern Dance Performances

Ordered the size I normally wear, it was about 1/2 size to small. When I sent it back, just be aware you will be charged a restocking fee. Even if not worn.The shoe is really comfortable and well made. I normally wear somewhere between a 9 and a 9.5 in womens, So i bought a 9.5 and it was just 1/2 inch too big, but its fine, it doesn't really get in the way of my dancing.I bought a little bigger so my 12 year old daughter won't grow out of them so fast like all her other dance shoes. They are snug enough on her skinny feet that they won't slip off.I needed a jazz shoe for a show I'm rehearsing. I wear a 9.5 shoe but usually have to go up a half to a full size in a dance shoe. Not this one though. I should have measured the length of my foot because they do give the length of the shoe on the page. The size 10 was far to long for my foot so I returned and ordered a 9, which fits perfectly. I have wide feet but the shoes accomodate.. I've now danced in the shoes and I am pleased. Exactly what I needed.These Jazz / Dance shoes arrived in a timely fashion, they fit true to size and the quality is great.I've searched in stores and on line - decided to buy these for our daughter. The price was competitive, the shipping was free and the description and reviews justified a purchase. I'm happy with themAs in new shoes in general, there's a breaking in period - however, these didn't seem to need it. They were soft and somewhat broken in, so there was no irritation or blister.These shoes are good for the price. They fit perfect! I usually wear a six in most shoes, I ordered the 6 and they fit. They do scuff fairly easily but again, for the price they are ok in my opinion.These are really tight to get on at first but we figure they will probably stretch as they are worn. Probably a good thing to be tight to start.These single gore shoes worked out well for my daughter who has long and flat feet. The double gore shoes dug into her ankles.my daughter loved the shoes for her recent show . we have made a note for future purchases .Excellent!!
