This skirt beautifully complements the Sansha burgundy leotard I also ordered. Unlike most skirts, the chiffon fabric has a little bit of lycra in it for resiliency. When worn at the waist, it crosses in front like wrap skirts usually do. I believe if you wish to achieve the look in the promotional photo, it would be necessary to order one or two sizes down. A great short skirt at a great price.FYI - with Sansha it is necessary to use their size chart to get the proper fit.My dress size is a 6, but dancewear sizing is different and I wear a L(5) or XL (6) in Sansha dancewear.
