I have the longer knee version of these boots in cognac that I got about 3 years ago and they are still my favorite boots. I remember wondering to myself, "I wonder if they have shorter versions of these? I would totally get them!" Alas! 3 years later! The Limbo Dance! I got them in taupe this time and was expecting a dark dirty brown, but it's actually a stone gray color, which I still love because I have brown booties already.My longer knee versions were tighter around the toe areas (but good for my not-so-wide feet), so I expected these to have a tighter fit around there too. A lot of other reviewers found these boots to be way too tight for them around the toe areas, so I would say that if your regular boots are just-right for your feet, these may be tight for you. If you have a flatter arch and narrow toes, these will fit well.The pointed toes and low heel are so elegant! I have lanky legs, so I still had some room at the top, but they also have another zipper on the outside that goes half-way down that you can expand the opening area if you find it too tight or if you just want a looser look. They have rubber bottoms, which I'm so happy about because my longer versions had only wooden bottoms.I only buy Clarks boots and these have met my expectations for the brand once again. Get these! They're totally worth the price!The shoe was extremely narrow, so narrow I couldn't wear it and had to return the shoes; didn't even bother to try them both on because the first one was such a narrow fit. I had even bought a half size larger because they say if the shoe looks narrow to just adjust the length but found out that's a lot of hooey. I'm sure the shoe is well-made, and it came extremely quickly after it was ordered. I liked the style and look of the pair and was sorry to have to send them back. Great shoe and good deal for someone with skinny feet.I read the reviews and they said they would fit narrow. Boy, do they! I have an AA narrow foot, I think. And it's tight on my feet - I know I'm wearing shoes. But, it's not so tight that I'm miserable. The more I wear them the more they break in. I really like them. My long skinny feet just look a little long and skinny in them. Ha! Great shoe though. Only 4 stars because I don't think most people have as narrow of a foot as I have.These shoes are just ok. I almost sent them back but decided to keep them because the price was good. I have skinny feet and these shoes seem to be a bit too narrow. I like the look of them. It has a zipper on each side, not sure why. I actually find that kind of annoying because the zipper on the inner side doesn't go all the way down so I use to use the outer one to put the shoe on. And sometimes I don't pay attention and just see a zipper and go for it.I have never before ordered shoes, much less boots, on-line....so I rated these as 5 stars because they couldn't have fit better if I had found them in a department store. I ordered 3 other pairs of boots/shoes and returned them all because I fell in love with these!!! Totally comfortable and I really like the slouchy look - that's usually how the ankles on my skinny pants look, so the style(s) match. Price was very fair and I'm probably going to buy the same boot in a different color - great quality and feel like they'll last a couple of years -- but then that is to be determined, but I do think they will. Happy walking!!If you have larger calves like me and are unable to wear knee high boots to fit them, these are for you. I've been looking for boots I can wear with my jeans and black slacks. These look great and they're easy to put on. They're comfortable as are all clark's I've owned. They do tend to run a half size smaller than other brands I own, but it's been great. I use these in the northwest and they are by no means meant for bad weather. They are slippery, not insulated, and not waterproof. They've still held up great after a few weeks of frequent use. I'll post updates, but so far, so good.I have a very narrow foot and often times narrow width shoes/boots are still not narrow enough. Because of this, I NEVER look at medium width shoes/boots. However, when I was perusing boots, I saw this boot but was disappointed it was not offered in Narrow. But, in looking at reviews (from numerous sites), I kept seeing the same thing - this boot was too narrow! While being too narrow for other people was a problem, I took a chance on this boot since narrow was what I was looking for. I am so happy I did - I love this boot! And, it fits better than many of my other shoes/boots that are specifically marked "Narrow"!I went to Clarks store and checked my size there then I ordered this with the same size I found. The size I bought was 7.5 and it went very small and the color is different than the picture(not pretty as the picture) I was disappointed. After reading the reviews again I decided to buy the black color with size 8. And yeeeh it's much softer and fit perfectly, I like it.This is a very, very, very narrow fit for a medium. I have 2A-3A feet and I bought a similar style boot from Clarks from a retail store in a 10M and that pair has always been a little swimmy on my feet. I put in insoles. This 10 M fits like a 4A and slightly shorter. I'm not sure I'll keep them as yet. The cognac colour is not as rich as I had hoped. But the leather is soft. Because the style is so similar and the sole is identical to my other pair, I hoped the fit would be similar. I may try a 10.5 to make up for the narrowness.Petites bottes confortable et chic, parfaites avec un jeans !Love them . A great boot.
