I bought a 7.5, it's slightly larger than my normal street size. I wear a 6.5-7. They were snug when I got them, THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE. They stretch as you wear them. They were snug like socks are snug. You will think they are too small, they are NOT, they stretch out as you wear them in.These are very good quality, a lot of sole cushioning with gel in the heel, comfortable and enables good turning on the dance floor. Unlike another pair I had, I didn't find them to be too slippery on a wooden dance floor. I think these are better quality than a previous Danskin sneaker. I wear them for Bhangra ( lots of turning, jumping, impact) and Zumba type dance (lots of sliding). I have worn dance sneakers for all kinds of dance for years and am almost 60, and still going strong. I'd recommend good dance sneakers over regular sneakers if you plan to keep on truckin' with your dancing to protect your knees, hips and other joints if you're doing impact or slides and turns in your dancing. They would work well for most dancing, I also do a lot of other styles, for instance salsa, jazz, any aerobics. I reserve them for dancing to not rough up the soles, though there was a time I had patella knee issues and strangely, the only shoes I could tolerate walking were dance sneakers. I'm not into pink much, but it is a light pink and I wanted to try something besides black. I wish they had more color choices. I wear a size 6 in street shoes, and ordered these in 7.5, my big toe touches the front and I have wide feet and sides of my feet snug, but that part of the shoe is leather and stretches with use so are comfortable. They do run small. I think an 8 would have been too big for the rest of my foot. The sizing is whack!Based on website recommendation I ordered one full size up and it was STILL WAY too small! I wear a street shoe size 8.5 so ordered a 9.5. My toes hit the end of the toe box & was very uncomfortable! Sadly had to return. I am a Line Dance instructor so I need comfortable dance sneakers. Not sure if I will order a 10 or even 10.5. For this high price I would like to see a more consistent sizing b/c i’ve ordered Bloch shoes in the past and only had to go up one half size up! Hope this helps. The size is way off. I'm size 8 in every brand but had to buy 10 1/2 .They're awesome, perfect heel for dancing and great support for my feet. The color is perfect!I need a very wide toe box, even though my weight is normal. As everyone said, they run small, and I find also tight. Net result & FYI: although my feet measure size 6, and I normally size up to 6.5-7 to get more width, I kept trying pairs until I got up to a size 10 that finally didn't cramp my toes! To take up the extra length & heel width to avoid slipping, I had to add a mid-thickness over-the-counter insole. I'm still rating them a 5.0 because it's amazing (& I'm grateful) I could find shoes to safely dance in! They have a very nice lacing system with 2 sets of "holes" so that one gets many lacing options. The system enables a custom tightening so that I can keep the shoe near the toes wide, but tighten it near the ankle. I sure wish they'd offer widths, but its' still a very nice shoe with good cushioning. So I've had another pair of Bloch dance sneakers for about 8 years. I remember having to buy a size-up from my normal (size10 in sneakers, 9.5 in dress shoes) when I got them in a dance store in 2012. Since then I've worn them about once a week for Zumba and been very pleased. I noticed the tread was really worn on the old ones, and decided to replace them last month. I first bought them from Zappos (fulfilled by Amazon) in a size 11.5 and they were PAINFULLY TIGHT. When Zappos couldn't offer me a larger size I decided to try getting them on Amazon. Amazingly, it took a size 12.5 to get it right!!! Where is the quality control on this brand? I would normally be swimming in a size 12.5 but these are just about right. BUYER BEWARE: you will probably have to try a few sizes to get it right if you haven't worn Blochs lately. BTW, I held them up against the 8-year-old pair and they are almost IDENTICAL in length, but slightly wider (both were medium width). SHEESH!!I haven't had these shoes long enough, have only used them twice for my jazzercise classes in one week. I wear a size 8.5 so purchased a 10.5 like all the reviews stated to do (buy 2 sizes larger). The size fits great. I'm not sure how I feel about them just yet. I've gotten a few compliments on them the very first day I wore them, which was surprising that my dance neighbors noticed them right away. I have Plantar Fasciitis and my regular tennis shoes killed my feet during Jazzercise so I purchased these since they're 'dance' shoes. While doing Jazzercise, I sometimes feel a 'shock' inside my foot, meaning as something in my foot (a ligament?) feels as if it's going to snap...not really sure what's going on, and I've only felt it with these Bloch shoe, never in regular shoes or tennis shoes. I'm going to try wearing them for another week or two of dance to see if my foot gets better and maybe the 'shock' I'm feeling is only because my foot is not used to the shoe. The sole on the shoe is not one whole piece, you have a front sole and then a heel sole, there is no sole in the middle of the shoe, which feels awkward when walking up stairs. I didn't realize that I used the arch of my foot first to step on steps, awkward feeling and now I step using my whole foot. I also feel the soles are a bit hard on my heels so I've added inserts which seemed to help with that issue. And the color is exactly what you see on here, it's a light pink shoe.First thing you should know is to order 2 sizes up. I wear a size 7.5 to8. In this shoe, I ordered a 9.5 and they fit perfectly with a very nice amount of wiggle room for my toes....just as a normal sneaker would fit. I don't like my toes hitting anywhere near the top and these don't do that at all. They feel great and have lots of support and cushion. My feet were hurting so bad after dancing barefoot that I had to get something. The dance paws with the gel weren't cutting it anymore. These sneakers are great! The soles make it easy to spin, but I'm not slipping around or unsteady on the dance floor. These are really a foot saver. Thank you!Love them and hoping sizing is right, third time lucky.I ordered one size up, I wear a 7 so ordered an 8, had to return and order a size and a half (8 1/2) I had to give up Zumba and other dancing classes as the twisting etc. was extremely hard on my bad knees. But I can again enjoy those classes again as these shoes allow you to move freely and not stick to the floor like other workout shoes. So many women in my class were interested in ordering some for themselves. I highly recommend these if you are in any dance class even if you don't have any joint pain. Also very light and comfortable.Great shoes. Very light weight. I read another review that the shoe comes little smaller. So I ordered two sizes up. I am a US 8.5 and I ordered two sized up US 10.5 and it is too big. I am returning the shoe as it’s too large for me. Otherwise it’s very lightweight and great dancing sneakers. Unfortunately Amazon doesn’t carry size 8.5Definitely order 2 whole sizes bigger than you normally wear. I wear size 7, but bought size 8, then 8.5, then 9 before finding the right fit. Also Retour (klappte problemlos). Ich habe jetzt anderswo eine 41,5 bestellt. Doch wegen Brexit und Corona beläuft sich die Lieferzeit auf 8 Wochen.
