They are so comfortable. I have a very wide foot and they’re perfectThe shoe runs small and has little support. It's good for a new tapper but not for challenging moves. These shoes fit perfect. I measure 8 1/2 but wear size 9. I ordered size 9 and they fit. I was tapping and having fun right from the beginning. They are flexible and provide the support I need. I highly recommend them.I bought these tap shoes to replace my cheaper-no name- I ever heard- of brand. I stayed with the slip-on style as I don't wanna fiddle around with laces.I do like the flex sole. The shoe is comfortable and the taps are way better sounding than my cheapo pair. Way better!!!!!!I added insoles to my shoes and they still fit comforably... They are perfectly fine without adding the insole, but my feet appreciate the extra cushion. I have calluses in same area on both feet.Size: I ordered my normal street shoe size of 5.5I tap at home about 10 hours a week using videos as my teachers. The last time I tapped in a class was probably 1976 or 1977. Happy Tapping! My daughter absolutely loves these! He literally pair killed her feet but the teacher recommended the Bloch and she was right best shoes ever! She has the jazz shoes too and they are perfect!Pleasantly surprised! I was worried about how these would stay on because I have narrow feet, but I’m able to do syncopated wings no problem! I needed an update from my old Mary Jane style shoes. Very comfortable heel area as well. I didn’t even have to break them in!I am a dance instructor and have used Bloch taps for many years but have never used this style. I wear a size 9 street shoe and ordered a size 9 and they fit perfectly. After having these for two years now strictly teaching 3-4 classes, one night a week, the shoes have stretched out to where they slip off of my heels and I can no longer use them to tap in unless it’s for my little kids, doing no fast tapping or jumping. I’m afraid they will slip off when I am doing pull backs or grab offs or roll an ankle! The leather and taps have held up well. Comfort wise they’ve been great and I like the flexibility in the arch for “jazz” tap moves but the stretching out is disappointing. I will have to stick to leather tie Bloch taps from now on. I wish I had gone a half size down instead, and could still be using them in classes. My tap shoes just arrived and I LOVE them. I wear generally a size 10 shoe and because of the reviews, ordered a 10 and a 10.5. Although a tad hard to slip my foot in at first (hey, they are new!) once I got my feet in, there is plenty of room in the toe box and they are super comfortable in the size 10. I’m taking tap lessons this week after 40 years of not doing it and found the tie up shoes that were available locally to be really unattractive. These are very cool and sleek especially with my size foot. They exceeded my expectations. My daughter loves these shoes, we think they look beautiful on and very comfortableI’m a 7, sometimes 6.5. The 7s fit perfectly but there’s no chance of wearing socks with them, not even thin ones. (I suspect pantyhose would fit, haven’t tried.)That aside they’re incredibly comfortable out of the box and have a nice sound, and at a great price for Blochs. Would buy again, possibly in 7.5 (to have space for thin socks).I haven’t bought tap shoes since I was a kid so it took a bit getting used to the soft shoe. They are comfortable but feel a bit loose when travelling on balls of footFits perfect and they are very comfortable. I bought a size .5 size bigger. It helped me to verify the sizing on the site that makes the shoes.love these shoes, great fit and great sound
