Arrived very quickly to California (a little over a week) even though the notification said it would take over a month! I ordered a 4-5 for my almost 5 year old and it was really large. More like a 6x or larger. But I liked the thickness of the fabric and the value so I took a chance and ordered two more in size 3-4 in black and pink. They are the perfect size which is about a 5t. They seem really well made and the fabric is a lot thicker than most ballet sweaters so I know she will be warm in the drafty ballet studio (old building). Also, there is a slot where the tie can go through so you can tie it in the back just like most ballet wraps. It isn't apparent in the picture FYI.So in conclusion:Thick fabricArrived quicklyHas a slit on side so you wrap around and tie in backSize 3-4 = 5tSize 4-5 = 6x or largerIt would be exactly what I wanted except it runs very large! I got the size 4-5, and it looks like it would fit a 7 or 8 yr old. I added a photo overlaying a size 4T old navy sweater. You can see the sleeves are a good 3-4 inches longer on each side. Otherwise the material is thick, and of good quality.My daughter is slender, and comfortably wears a size 4/5, and some brands even a size 6. I purchased this wrap in a XS (5/6), and it's way too large for her. It's closer to a 7/8, but she'll grow into it.Cute sweater that is allowed in dance class. Runs big, but my granddaughter will grow into it.Love this sweater. Got it for Halloween and have used it multiple times since. Love the way it fitsIt was a tad big. Fit better when wrapped. My daughter liked it.Sleeves, ties, and width are a little too long/wide, but she will grow into it, so we are making it work for now.Definitely runs large. I sized down and it’s still a little big. We can’t tie it so the front stays closed and that bugs my daughter, but it’s a high quality material.
