This little gem of a recording features musicians Johannes Utzinger, Jürg Neuenschwander and Christian Schwander playing traditional 19th century Swiss folk dances and house music on violin, hammered dulcimer and house organ. An added perk (at least to the release of the recording from Swiss Radio International) is a wonderful booklet (in English) explaining the history and origins of the music, as well as information about the performers and the instruments played.
