Item slightly small.When taking it out of the package, it looked like it was too small. Once my daughter tried it on, it fit her like a glove. It’s well crafted and nice material and is a true to size item.My daughter is 3 almost 4 (in a week) & just started gymnastics. Tried these on before washing & it fit fine, after washing it shrunk a little, & now is a big too snug. I recommend to size up. If it hadn't shrunk I'd give this a 5 star. Overall not bad for its price.I purchased this for my 8 year old to wear for a cat costume. It fit as expected in regards to size, but the bottom is a bit wonky. The cut of it is simply strange and it moved around a lot and she complained of wedgies. Other than that, it was adorable, stitching seems well done and overall I am happy with this purchase.Unlike other leotards our 4 year-old granddaughter wears, this one is a little baggy in the seat, which means she must wear pants over them. The softness and stretch are great.A little snug and unordered the size up so i would suggest ordering two sizes up. But aside from that it’s soft and stretchy and cute.It's cute over all just too small and she's tiny so could have been more stretchy , return location was too far so I kept itSturdy material my daughter loves it
