I would give these 4.5 stars if I could, because that's where these fall in my mind. Overall, these bloomers are really great! The colors are spot on (I've ordered the orange and the navy and they are both true to the listing's photos). They aren't the softest things, but they are still very comfortable.At first feel before trying them on, these don't feel like they would be that comfortable - they're a tad stiff. However, once tried on, these bloomers are really flattering and comfortable. The lace detailing isn't all that soft, but it's tough so it will stand up a lot of wear. That being said, the lace isn't uncomfortable either, as it is on the outside of the bloomers. The lining on the other hand is nice and comfy, but again it's not the softest of material. Perhaps the fabric will get softer with a washing.I haven't washed these yet, I'm actually waiting for them to come out of the wash now - so I don't know about their color bleed. But, being poly-cotton, I'm thinking they should hold their dye well. I will update this review once I take them out of the wash.I'm a rather large lady, I'm 6' and 235lbs, but the large fits me just fine. So it may be prudent to size down. The waistband is comfortable and sits right on my waist. Additionally, being a big person, I'm worried about construction, and it seems like these bloomers are well built.Basically, these are a great, cost-effective option for those who wear dresses or shorter skirts. The variety of colors (which are true to the listing description) is wonderful and the build of the bloomers is strong. If you are looking for more authentic bloomers (more poofy) or perhaps a softer pair, I would suggest the listings over at FanPlusFriend.com. Not only do they offer wonderfully made, beautiful bloomers, they also sell real, quality petticoats for that extra poof for your outfit. (They also have really great clothes!)Overall, I would recommend these bloomers!These will fit a 5'4" girl who has a 50 inch belly button spot circumference comfortably. The product only goes up to my belly button, so it works well under a corset. It is rough/sturdy, kind of like canvas, but I like that about it. I had to take the tag off of the outside, being bright white on my dark green shorts was distracting. Overall though, I would definitely get again in a different color if I needed it for another cosplay. I got it for my poison ivy cosplay, and I think it will work well. The color is spot on in the pictures even.Though, if you actually have a butt unlike the model, the line of ruffles may be a bit lower, FYI.I really like these but they're a little toasty and have a tendency to bunch up in the leg. Some sort of grip around the leg openings would be super helpful, but I didn't expect that so I really can't complain! I am very happy to have them and wish I had them in a bunch more colors - I wear them under all my dancing dresses so that I can remain modest when being spun around the dance floor and they're perfect for that! They've also had a few threads come loose, but nothing that trimming those few hasn't totally solved.Used as form fitting pettipants for a 1960's vintage play. Allowed the actors freedom of movement without showing it all. Good fit and construction.Some gals swear by bike shorts to prevent the dreaded chubb rub in warmer months but these dance pants are my jam. Forgiving sizing, lots of colors and the fabric does soften up once you wash and wear them a few times. However! Be careful as Amazon seems to glitch between the N21 and N29 styles if you're looking at different size and color options! Per Malco Modes customer service, the N29 is more of a booty short with a 2.5" inseam and the N21 is the mid-thigh 6" inseam version.The purple that was pictured is a beautiful lilac but I received a deep royal purple (almost looked blue). Unfortunately, the dark color won't work for what I need so I will be returning them but they are exactly what I expected for ruffle panties.I usually love these - I have purchased 7 pairs previously, but the turquoise ones bled all over the rest of my laundry. I usually wash these in cold water to avoid just that issue. Apparently you are supposed to use warm water to wash out any residual dyes. I washed these three times in cold with like colors, any anything with a bit of light coloring (the white squares in a checked shirt, lettering on boxer shorts, etc.) is now blue-ish. The company will not replace anything that gets ruined unless you follow the washing instructions to a "T." So beware...I'd wash any of the bright-colored ones several times, by themselves, in warm water before wearing or washing with anything else, even like colors. Otherwise, you are likely to see your favorite shirt ruined from these as I did.Super cute, but I was expecting more of a light weight bloomer ( this was suggested for an item that was out of stock). Theses are more like a short but not quite, so while I really like them, I'm not a dancer (they are billed as dancing attire) so not quite sure how I'll incorporate them into my wardrobe. Still, they're cute and keepable.Needed pants to bridge the gap from top of stockings to help keep me warm in this cold weather which, they do very well. The material is soft and comfortable to wear all day long at work. I've bought more pairs of different colours and styles [leg length] too match / clash with mini dresses/skirts for discos as I like to show a flash of panties when dancing.
