This is a tight fitting top but is made of strong fabric. I wear a size 6 (tops and "curvy fit" bottoms, and my girth is 59 inches) but this was too tight in the legs. (I weigh 135lbs and am 5ft 6in.) I also play roller derby and bought this to get back into ballet for the isometrics and balance. My thighs are the thickest part of me. It wasn't so much that the leg openings pinched, they didn't. But my thighs looked like biscuit dough popping out of one of those ready to bake biscuit tubes. I am not returning the medium because it fit everywhere else just fine. Once the snow melts and I get outside running, I suspect it will look better. I am impressed with how strong and stretchy the fabric is. I wore a sports bra to class (with the larger size once I received it) but I probably didn't have to. The top really holds one's chest pretty tight.
