These fit as expected, but the upper outside of the shoe doesn't wear well. It has a coating or a film that has cracked. I can still use these after one run of a show, but I just was not expecting to them to wear in this manner. These are great ballroom shoes, of the legendary Capezio quality. I purchased these for a Paso Doble routine my partner and I have been working on. I would suggest that if you are new to ballroom, start with a lower heel, as these have a very flexible but consequently has little to no shank support (more like a strappy stiletto and less like a cowboy boot). This means that they twist very easily mid-foot, so if you're not accustomed to navigating heeled shoes and dancing with your weight toe-forward, it could increase your chances of turning your ankle.I have a wide toe box, and am generally a bigger human than most dancers, so I automatically went ahead and purchase a customizable shoe-stretcher - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B077RZ66YX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - which worked GREAT. I tried them on, noted the places around the front of my foot that I knew would be a problem if I danced in them more than 5 minutes, then echoed those spots on my shoe stretchers. Get the leather a little damp, tighten the stretchers snugly (but don't wrench them or you'll damage/tear the thin leather) and leave for 1-2 days. After that initial adjustment, I've worn them weekly for 2-hour sessions with no problems.Highly recommend. They're well-made, suede-soled, and the high heel extends the look of your legs in dramatic fashion.I have been playing the Organ professionally since I was 14 years old. I am 62 now. All of my life I have used regular men's tap shoes but needed more support with a higher arch to play multiple notes and chords simultaneously. Regular tap shoes do not work for me because I have smaller feet.I ordered these Latin dance shoes so that I no longer have to worry about missed or misplaced notes for the pedalboard. The important part is that they feel like a glove and have massive arch support while being flexible enough to span several keys at once when needed. The other important part is a real suede sole. We need to feel where we are without looking and the sole is thin enough to do that and the leather helps smooth the movement because it is slippery but stable! Overall I am very pleased with this purchase. Our local 'dance' store left almost 20 years ago and most in-person shops do not carry specialty dance shoes - only regular men's and women's tap shoes.I bought this product for pedal playing thirds and higher intervals. Based on reviews I bought half size bigger shoes. It turned out that was good idea as my regular size would be too small. The shoes are excellent! I like both Organmaster shoes as well as Capezio's. Both are must have for professional organist.Well made shoe. Very stylish and sharp looking. Unfortunately supplier does not carry it in a narrow and it was too small anyway.Use the standard for size!!!I use it for dancing. So, it has to fix perfectly. We purchased several pairs of these shoes because it is hard to find men's Latin shoes anywhere near size 13. All were disastrous. Within one or two wears, the material on the exterior was shredding. The photos show the shoes after a couple of wears. All five pairs did this immediately.
