Each shoe has a 2.5mm thick OX suede sole and also features a metal shank embedded from the heel part of the shoe all the way down to the forefoot. I am not a dancer, but I had several weddings to go to this year and figured shoes that are meant for intense wear might help me make it through multiple cocktail hours. I was right. These are sturdy and comfortable, even after several hours. The heels are just the right height to look good without making me unstable. Even better, everyone complimented me on my shoes. They look great in person and are pretty unique. The glitter is stuck on there well and they still look great after several wears and several trips in suitcases.These are very comfortable. I’m dancing up to two hours some days in them with bad knees and I haven’t had any problems. The heels are wide enough to be stable, and not too high. The opening around the toes does rub a tiny bit, but I suspect that’s in part due to the length of time I’m in the shoes. I didn’t want to sacrifice a close, secure fit so I bought my exact shoe size rather than a half size larger, which I occasionally do with taller heels.Really nice look a lot of compliments but I have to wear bandages on the back side of my heels because makes blisters on my heelsFits great and looks great!The shoes are beautiful. The only problem is that the right toe is tight. Trying to figure out how I can make them more comfortable in that spot.Comfortable and very affordable!Good Ballroom shoes are very difficult to find. These are the best I have found without having to go to a low heel.It is very good
