I gave them a 3, instead of 1, bc I read the reviews before I bought a understood the poor quality situation before buying. I took my chance. Like other reviewers, I had to add a real insole as these shoes barely have bottoms and the insole is only a thin liner. Without the additions, its like walking straight on the ground. Zero support. Theyre more like "foot covers". Nonetheless, I wear them. I keep them under my desk at work for those moments when I need closed toe shoes and only wear for a few minutes at a time. They work for me...just know what you're buying and what your needs will be. Don't expect daily useFor some reason their size 7m is really big on me. So reviews said they are true to size. But it doesn’t apply to me.Cute and Comfy shoe.These are OBVIOUSLY very cheap. Like, sooo cheap in quality. Butttt I thought they'd last more than 3 wears in 2 weeks. One of the straps ripped off relatively immediately. Not awful, can be resent. Just sucks to buy something brand new that already needs work done. In three wears. Literally just walking and driving. These are comfortable and cute, but are very cheaply made from low quality materials, so they are not built for daily wear and I don’t expect them to last long. Outside is black velvet, inside is plain and barely adequate footbed with no arch. These run small, so go at least one size up, maybe two if you want to add a cushioned insert. Note that the sole is narrower than it should be for the shoe size and not as thick as it appears in the product images - as a result the velvet and cheap cardboard of the shoe sides bulges out and can brush the floor when you have them on (yes, cardboard - did I mention these are cheaply made?). However, they are inexpensive and a perfect match to the little black velvet dress I needed to wear them with and worked ok for me, once I added a better footbed insert and fancied up the buckle a bit. So they were adequate in a pinch, but ultimately I would have been better off taking the money I spent on these and applying it to the purchase of a good quality black mary jane.I go skiing in Tahoe almost every weekend, and I wanted to have a pair of snow booties that would be easy to change in and out of. I also wanted them to be water resistant with good snow traction, and be cute enough that I could wear them to a nice restaurant later if I needed to. These affordable little booties are exactly what I was looking for.They slip on and off in seconds, which lets me change in and out of my ski boots much faster, and the soles have great traction. I don't think they are full waterproof (I wouldn't go around stomping in puddles with them) but they do seem water resistant. It was raining/wet snowing on Sunday when I wore them, and they seemed to withstand the slush without getting my feet wet. And they are SOOOO comfortable! They feel like wearing slippers. They are so convenient and comfy that I've started wearing them for running everyday errands too.They do feel light and inexpensive, and I don't know how well they would hold up if you're planning on using them as daily outdoor winter shoes. However, they are perfect for my needs as après-ski shoes....too big and the strap doesn't fasten
