Bloch Women's Amalgam Leather & Mesh Split Sole Jazz Dance Sneakers - Lightweight Comfort for Jazz, Contemporary & Studio Dance Classes

Just got my shoes today. They are super light-weight and the soft leather will mould to your feet. I bought these shoes for Zumba and will try them out at class tonight. The fit of these shoes is similar to that of a regular leather jazz shoe. I never liked to wear thick socks with my jazz shoes so I don't suspect these shoes will feel all that comfortable with socks given the fit is similar to a jazz shoe. I bought a half size up from my normal street shoe size and they fit perfectly, which is great since my feet won't slide around in the shoe when doing pivots and turns. The floors at our studio can get pretty sticky during humid weather so pivot pod will be perfect for that. Love how the split sole allows for pointing and flexing of the foot. Only giving 4/5 starts because they kinda look funny on my feet, but I think that has more to do with my natural foot shape than my shoe. I know that the shoes will stretch after a few wears since I've had shoes made with soft leather like this before.It was a great purchase. Money well spent. Before I bought the shoes, I read the reviews from previous customers and I followed their advice in regards to the size. I wear a size 8 but, I ordered a size 91/2 for these specific shoes and they fit perfect. They are not tight; I have a little bit of room in my toes, which is recommended when you buy shoes for dancing or running. I bought the leather instead of canvas and I am pleased with the quality and price, plus I received a lot of compliments in my Zumba class. I would not recommend these shoes for overpronators since they usually need more foot arch support. I bought them in black with the pink stripes on the sides, I am thinking about ordering the second pair in black and green. I hope you find this review helpful.Definitely not true to size. Ordered a size 12 and the shoes is tight for someone who wears size 9. Back of shoes is also too low. Feet keep common off. Waste of money. I live in the Caribbean so return will got too much. Rip off.This shoes should be shipper, they are too expensive, I think more people are expecting a better price for themAnd love them. With my knees I need freedom to twist and turn without twisting my knee joints. I wear a size 9 shoe but with orthotics and socks I bought size 11.5 and they fit fine. They seem to be holding up well after 2-3 months.Simply perfet.Great price for the quality of the shoe. very comfortable however the right shoe is a little snug but that is due to the fact that my right foot is a tad longer than the other.I would highly recommend this product.I bought these based on the Bloch size converter, American 6 1/2 to Bloch 7 1/2, and they fit great. They look good too - not as clunky-looking as some dance sneakers and the stripe adds some style.I do love these shoes. I loved my first pair so much, I bought this second pair shortly after the first. However, it is true, you do need to buy a half size larger!
