Comfortable but you should wear them at home for some time to break them in which is what I did before going dancing. They fit perfectly though the left feels tighter and pushes on my toes a bit. Perhaps my feet are different sizes though. The buckles are a bit frustrating. I have to have them tight to stay on but to remove the straps is a struggle since the metal piece has to move to a different slot in order to remove. This takes longer than simply pulling it free. These shoes work well for dancing and I was able to execute many turns and swings easily with the softness of the bottom of the shoe.
