I'm 5'9 and about 141lbs. (34-27-39.5) - I bought a size M and it fit. It was a little tight at the hips, a little baggy on top (pretty typical for my measurements). Very va-va-voom. There may have been a length issue for my height though.Some things to note:- if the back tie is not secure, it will fall off my top. It took a couple tries to get this right- the material is super cheap. This would be fine from a distance with black. I question how the other colors might look.- there is no side strap holding the top side openings together - on the model it looks like there is, but that is whatever she is wearing underneath the actual dress. I don't think it would create a wardrobe malfunction on it's own (unless you are small busted, it draped well for me), but with a partner and some close dancing, I could see it happening potentially- it comes with shorts, and that's because if you lift your leg in a way, it reveals a lot. Nice, unexpected feature- For you other taller girls out there, I had a hard time balancing the closed part of the dress on my hips. I think the slits ended up too high for me and rode up more while moving. I think if my torso were an inch or two shorter, I wouldn't have the same issue.Ultimately I had to return it as I don't think I would be able to use this dress dancing without a modesty moment.I was pleased that the dress package arrived, within the promised time frame. I also loved the red color that I chose and dress design.Unfortunately, it didn't look good on my daughter. I regret ignoring the warning signs: 1) the model pictured and 2) the type of material. Both are red light indicators. My daughter wears dress size 14. I ordered the largest size and double checked her measurements, to no avail. Now we've got to scramble to find another.I'm posting my comment from my husband account.I gave it a 2 stars, because of fast delivery, no hassle on returning. I'd love to keep this dress; however, the size was too big. I ordered size "S" with my measurement below:Bust: 33 inchesWaist: 24 inchesHip: 35 inchesUnfortunately, I looked like wearing a potato sack. Each side of the seam can intake 2 inches. I didn't want to spend more $ to fix it, so I returned it.I'm 5'5" and 100 lbs and the size Small was far too large. It hung on me like a black sack. I can see that it would be nice if it fit; but it was just too big for me. Sending it back.I was looking to get a performance dress asap, opened Amazon, this was the first choice under tango dresses, and I wasn't disappointed. It's pure polyester, but I wasn't expecting $100 quality. I got lots of compliments on it, I like that it makes my legs look longer, overall very happy with my choice.This is a really fun and sexy dress. I love the animal print. It's stretchy so it would fit varous sizes. Only problem I ran into is that the back is low, which IO love, but the ties that keep it from falling off are tacky looking. Still, I got compliements and will wear it again.It wasn't quite what I wanted but it was what I expected for the price. The material isn't all that nice but it is thick enough that it's not see-through. Need to make a few alterations to it to fit and flatter my body better.Odd, small and extra large fit the same. Also, if knock off from vesa, trust their sizing and copy inch per inch. I'd have bought a bunch of the colors!
