I'm laughing that Amazon's review is asking about good arch support, because they're ballet slippers, so of course not! This was my first time ordering ballet shoes for my daughter, and based on other reviews I ordered a size up. Turns out I didn't need to; these are true to size. So with ordering up, these are a little big on my 3yo girl, but they do stay on her feet during ballet class and her teacher says they're fine. She's worn them at home too, where we have some very slippery floors, and they do what they're supposed to keeping her from slipping while she's jumping and twirling. They're not the cutest or prettiest ballet slippers compared to some of her classmates whose parents went all out with their gear, and they're already showing some grey marks after one class, but for $10 for a little girl who will probably outgrow them in a couple months, they're PERFECT.
