Like it and use for belly danceI think the pants were cut well, I'm 5'7" and they were long enough and fell just bellow the belly button. But the fabric is similar to cheap Halloween costumes, weird gloss about them and thinned out at the thighs. The material doesn't breath at all and feels hot.I couldn't bring myself to keeping them, not even for practice, I had to send her them back.I love these pants! I didn't give them 5 stars only bc they run a little small. I usually wear a small so I ordered the medium and they fit great. I am under 5' so I expected them to be long on me but they are perfect. No cutting required. They are very thin though. If not for the hip scarf I would be hesitant to show off my behind in these! I'll be ordering these in other colors too. Very comfy and flattering.These don't look very flattering on my thunder thighs. They're also a bit too tight in the crotch area (hello, camel-toe). Unfortunately, a size up would make them too loose in the hips. A bit too shiny and thin of fabric. Was expecting these to have some sort of compression effect (like leggings), but they don't. If you're not insecure about your thighs or crotch, then go for it. They look really cute on the model.Love the feel of these pants, but they are very thin! (I purchased in black.) I would not wear these in daylight. I normally war size 4-6 jeans, and I really had to squeeze into the large. I wish the fabric was slightly thicker, but I'm keeping them for dance class.Ordered a size up but are still right on my waist. Otherwise, these pants are nice. Lightweight silky material feels and moves great. Color is fantastic.In fact its an odd poly or rayon blend which is that weird almost-see-through legging material you see on chicks and cringe. I wear them to belly dance, so not that big of a deal because of the hip scarf I use. BUT according to all of the descriptions of actual milk silk, its actually like silk. Which this is not. Please don't wear in public to the grocery store.Great pants for belly dance class... You can't beat the price. I got the purple pants which I thought would be more plum/eggplant in color but they are actually a brighter true purple color. I would have preferred a plum but it's ok, they are still nice. They are tighter up top in the bum area, looser in the knees, and the perfect length for me. I usually wear a medium but ordered a large and like the way they fit - I'm 5'7" and 132 lbs.
