Elegant Chiffon Belly Dance Hip Scarf with Silver Coins - Perfect for Middle Eastern Dance, Yoga, and Performance Costume Accessories

I bought this because I figured it would help me to have some sound along with some of the movements for my belly dancing. This product is definitely as described, and it is great for what I'm using it for. The only issue I can see with it is that, because of the materials used, it won't last. The material itself is thin, and the coins are weighty. Not downsides, really; the weight feels just right. But the weight of the coins plus the material, it feels like it's only a matter of time before it starts tearing up. It hasn't fallen apart on me yet, and I anticipate many, many more uses. But if you're looking for something high-quality, this wouldn't be it. It's wonderful for practice, and little at-home shows (*wink*), but--in my opinion, at least--it's one of those things that would need to be replaced after a while. I could be wrong; after all, I've only had mine for a short time. Great for people just getting into it, especially for the price, and I think it would be great for small studios as well, just to get the students in the proper mindset. Overall, very nice product, but not something I would personally consider for, say, stage performance and such.Wore it as apart of my Esmeralda outfit and got so many compliments! It jingles beautifully and it’s super light weight! I love it! Thank youMy original hip skirt I ordered had a rip along the side...and within a few minutes of performing, one of the strings gave way and TONS of beads & coins started pouring off the skirt - very embarrassing for me & potentially dangerous for the other dancers on the stage if someone stepped on one of those beads! I was VERY upset and contacted the seller. This is not my first purchase from them - other hip skirts I bought here are still going strong after a few years. This one had to be bad from the manufacturer.The staff here were very professional, very apologetic, and immediately sent me a replacement - which has held up to several performances already.I dont think the "bad skirt" was within their control - I think it came that way out of the factory. I also think the exceptional way they handled my complaint earns them 5 stars.I will continue to buy my belly dance hip skirts here.This is such a beautiful scarf! Only time will tell if the scarf is worth the money and I havent begun to use it yet, but I am super excited to begin using it! This scarf is made of thin material and the coins are heavy. They are heavy, and when I tried it on I had to tie it tight because when i did some hip drops, the scarf kept falling down off of my hips due to the weight of the coins. But overall I am very happy with my purchase. :)I wore completely sheer harim pants under this scarf as a belly dancer Halloween costume. My costume was completely purple &silver so I bought silver shorts to wear under everything. The shorts gave me awful camel toe but luckily this scarf was coverage enough over the sheer pants for me to just not wear the shorts. The scarf was the perfect accessory to my costume, it covered everything I didn't want visible but left a sexy about of side leg for pictures. It was also a little shorter on me than the girl in the picture because my butt is a lot bigger. It jingled when I danced but not too much when I walked. It was just everything I needed.This coin scarf is awesome. I am very pleased with it. I used it as part of a witch costume and the sound of the coins while doing our witch dance was exactly as I had hoped.The skirt look better than the picture. The color purple is very royal and regal even more so with the coins.Much much brighter orange than the picture shows. It is neon "safety" orange. The coins are silver but the beads are gold color which doesn't even make sense.Still searching for a lighter orange/coral/peach color with all silver coins/beading.
