She was a member of the Murray Louis Dance Co. 1980-1988. The solos on the DVD comprise part of the work she did as part of doctoral studies at the Theater Academy of Finland.  She has performed these, and many other solos, in many locations in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.  Specifically-- U.S.: New York, New Jersey, Virginia, North Carolina, Washington D.C., Ohio, Minnesota, Washington, Hawai'i Europe: Germany, France, Poland, Austria, Portugal, Finland, Estonia, Asia: Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, Israel and New Zealand About the Director Dancer, choreographer and professor Dr Betsy Fisher created this DVD.  She is Professor of Dance at University of Hawai'i at Manoa, since 1994. Previously, she was a Sr. Lecturer of Dance for 3 years at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.  Before that,she was a lecturer of dance at University of California Santa Cruz, briefly at Stanford University, and was a Fulbright scholar at the Theater Academy of Finland.  She taught at the Nikolais-Louis Dance Lab while a member of the Murray Louis Dance Co. 1980-1988.
