Just Dance 2015 for Xbox One - Fun Dance Game with Family & Friends | Perfect for Parties, Workouts & Family Game Nights

My daughter had a hard time following and she is 15 years old - but I enjoyed the musicOur annual purchase of the just dance series was no different this year. Provides quality entertainment (and exercise) for get togethers, etc. I sort of wish it would better take advantage of the newer Xbox One Kinect (I mean it does my allowing more players, but looking for more). My kids have as much fun playing this as my wife and I do watching each other try to dance!The Xbox One Kinect is incredibly responsive in this game. For those who haven't played it, you are basically dancing while facing a game character. The point is to mirror their every move, and you gain points for how accurately you are able to do so.Out of the box you get 40 songs, which are detailed on this page under "Product Description." On top of that there are many additional songs you can download as Downloadable Content (DLC). At the time of writing this (Feb. 16th, 2015) there are 23 DLC songs that can be purchased for around $2-$3 a song.It's generally a lot of fun. You do need, like all Kinect games, a good 6 feet of space between your body and the sensor. Good light doesn't hurt either. And if you really put the effort into doing the moves like you're supposed to, it is quite the workout!Honestly I haven't started playing yet but I did went through the selections and can't wait.Love the song choices. I do find it a bit similar to Just Dance 2014, which i also own. It is different songs but the style is practically the same. Now I am not complaining, just stating. Trying to give an honest review for anyone who has 2014 and want this one. I suggest to anyone who does have 2014 already to check out the song list on Just Dance 2015 and see your faves are available for ad on to 2014. Maybe you'll save some money that way, now if you do this make sure it adds up to be cheaper then just going out and buying this game. Now if you are like me and got to have it all ( i'm so greedy, hahahaha) then go for it. You won't be disappointedJust Dance and the Kinect on the Xbox One is just about a perfect setup. As long as you have enough room for the camera to see you and your friends, its a ton of fun. My kids can play for hours but I found that the adults love to come down and show off our NON skills, but hey, after a while we can actually get some of the moves perfect. I practiced a song for a couple weeks without my son knowing and then when he was playing and chose that song, I said "hey, I like that song, Ill dance to this one". He was so happy but then the look of shock on his face when I was actually dancing so well.. I had to stop from laughing so hard.Fun as every year my only complaint is that there isnt enough songs to warrant the 60 dollar price that but I got it on black Friday for 25 so its a steal! They added a lot of nifty features and took out the unnecessary. The UI(user interface) isnt as ugly and it plays very well.My only real complaint is that the play back video was the reason I would even play the game, it would be sped up and really funny and fun. Here its kinda slow and dull, Ive only played it for a day we will see. Another fun time with friends.The dlc they want to release is too expensive, if they paired it with a free itunes download or something then sure.My wife and daughters love this game. Specially my daughters love dancing to "Let it Go". The game is cool. You really don't know how good you are doing because it is displayed with a small bar on the left that you really can't keep up with while trying to see what moves are coming up. Moves are not that easy to understand either. Basically it is easier to be a little delayed and watch the character dancing moves. The feature I liked the most was the end of song video recap. They show you a short clip of the people that was dancing in front of the tv and if you want you can share it with facebook or just save it to the xbox hard drive.I am trying to get fit, but I get bored with the same old workout routines. This game is fun even though I am uncoordinated. I do not like that it recorded "my moves" and showed the clip at the end of the dance. I figured out that it was a setting and shut that off. Then after a few dances it made me "compete" against other players, it would not let me go back or bypass the "request". It still shows my face when it gives me the scores for my dance which I don't like either. Weird. The tutorials of what move is next are pointless, the do not show me how to do the move at all. An indicator that tells you the difficulty of the song would be nice (like Zumba). Lastly, some of the song selections have multiple dancers on the screen doing different moves, which one am I supposed to follow? I can't do 4 moves at the same time. Bought it for my 4 yr old so we could play together but even my wife and 15 month old get in on the action. I like the fact that you just use the kinect sensor and don't need to hold anything to play. Great fun, everyone laughs and has a great time.so approved
