This leotard is great if you're allowed layering. It is thinner (I could see the tag through it slightly), but has a bust liner with holes so you can add pads for extra coverage.I ordered a size down so it would compress me a touch more, and it did the trick. I also have a short torso, so I figured it would work out to be tighter compared to the average longer torso.I am 5'5", full 35B (right in middle), approx 145-150 lbs, shape fairly even with a wide ribcage short torso, no waist, average hip and bottom. The recommended size was XXL, so I went with XL. It was tight on the arms, but compressed them to look muscular - loved that! It will not cinch a waist like shapewear, but it was smoothing enough.I was able to dance easily without extra support. Everything stayed in place (no riding). I wore tights under and biker shorts over.Easy wash – I handwashed with oxyclean and noticed that some dye did come out into the water, so launder with dark only first wash.This would even look pretty as a bodysuit!I'd highly recommend this for enthusiasts who can layer (it's really elegant!), and perhaps someone comfortable with less coverage and support.
