Arch hugging neoprene stretch satin arch. Embossed pleated detail. 100 percent cotton lining adds strength and helps the shoe to breathe. Moldable suede front sole allows spins but brakes when flat. Low profile heel for optimum control over stopping. Rubber outsole for added grip. Wide widths: to accommodate a wider width foot, the manufacturer recommends going a half size up from your normal size Founded in Sydney, in 1932 by Jacob Bloch, Bloch is a pioneer in the technical dance market. This is a very nice shoe with a beautiful line! However the sizing. I ordered according to the size recommendations and for my “little kid” size I did not need to size up at all, her regular street shoe size is what we ended up keeping. My older daughter who normally wears (just about) a size 3 street shoe ended up needing a women’s size 5 in these. I will say my younger daughter has an average width in her foot and my o,def daughter has a wider foot. These shoes are on the narrow end.
