Product Description

An all-new sequel manga to the bestselling Dance in the Vampire Bund series! Vampire hunts rage across the United States like the witch hunts of old. But in the shadows, rumors whisper of a grand escape plan. “Mina Tepes summons all the vampires of America,” it says. “Reach the West Coast, and a ship will take you all to the Vampire Bund.” Desperate to survive, hordes of vampires follow that rumor and make for the West Coast. There’s only one small problem—the Vampire Bund sunk months ago, and Vampire Queen Mina Tepes is dead.

While the beginning portions are semi-unrelated, and heavy handed to the point where even if you agree with the point and the symbolism you end up saying "yeah we get it get on with it", it's still a rather effective and even harrowing start. I mean Bund has always had this same mentality and metaphor but usually it's done a little more subtly....a little....Once that's finished though it's back to what makes this series great, Mina and Akira being awesome and so cute together. Mina even having an unbelievably cool and, ironically, Christ-like moment which was the highlight of the volume for me. It even catches you up on the end of Scarlet Order which is niceOverall I'm very excited for the continuation (and possible conclusion? ) of this series
