My go to For a night of salsa dancing!I am usually a size 9 and these fit great! My fiancé and I are taking dance lessons and these have been wonderful! Super comfy and great fit.I am a size 7 and so I purchase a 7.5 because I were sox when I practice. They actually fit just right and so I wonder had I bought the seven of it would of been to small.I absolutely love these shoes! They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. No blisters even though I haven't worn higher heels for years. The design is nice. Great for ballroom dancing.I wish they had this shoe with a closed toe for waltz and foxtrot!I've had these for a semester, and they are a lovely dance shoe. I spend anywhere from 8-15+ hours a week practicing in them and my feet never hurt afterwards, they're just sore as if you've spent an hour or two only on your feet. The heel size is nice and wide, and sturdy too. The front of the shoe is a bit on the wider side, but the back where the heel is fits pretty normally. When I broke these in I did not get blisters on the heel because the back was so well-designed.My two complaints are:1. The ankle strap is too short for me, I had to poke in additional holes and wait for it to stretch out. I do have high arches though.2. This isn't the most durable shoe ever, but I spend a lot of time in these shoes, so I'm not at all surprised that it is starting to shoe some signs of wear.A side note is that the sole isn't that flexible, so it's hard to point your toes in it. This is a problem in a cheaper shoe that does not exist in a more expensive shoe brand like capezio. If you use heel hunks heel protectors for these, a size h6 fits perfectly.Using these shoes I was able to glide (or trip!) through the beginner ballroom dance lessons in comfort. I liked the medium low heel height and while I did have some initial tendon pain after a few days of lessons, that was on me and my technique, not the shoes (I never wear heels though). These never felt like they held me back. I liked the latch, and they are so cute! My dance partner and the instructor both showered me with compliments. No blisters even with brand new shoes. I didn’t want to take them off when I had to go outside, but you’ve gotta protect those suede soles! I did size down a half size (from normal 7.5 to their 7) and that was just right for me.I just started taking ballroom dance lessons and was a little uneasy about finding a dance shoe that would fit, be comfortable, and not be too high or wobbly for someone with wider feet who rarely wears a high-heeled shoe.I normally wear an 8.5 W, and after reading all the reviews that mentioned the fit, I purchased both an 8.5 and a 9 since there were free returns. The 9 definitely felt better width-wise, but no matter how tight the strap was adjusted, my heel would slip with every step. The 8.5 felt a little bit pinched around the wide part of my foot but it definitely stretches to fit your fit pretty quickly. I've had 3 lessons so far, and after an hour the "pinch" is negligible - my toes aren't left sore or anything. We did go out dancing one night and after wearing them and intermittently dancing over 3 hours, I did start to get some "rub" on my toes. The bottom line, though, is to purchase the smallest size you might fit in or possibly a half size smaller than your normal size if you have a more narrow foot... in other words, always "round down".As far as the heel... it's the nature of a ballroom dance shoe to be very flexible, so even though the heel is lower and is manageable for someone like me who only wears high heels a handful of times per year, if you really need a sturdy shoe without the wobble, this may not be the shoe for you - consider a "character" dance shoe instead or something with a lower and/or wider heel. Still, for a beginner, the value of this shoe is good for the price.I’m new to dancing. These shoes fit well, stay in place on my feet and are very comfortable.Very happy with the shoes. Good fit and nice colour. Most importantly a very comfortable shoes! They look great, just as in the pictures, and are really comfy for a dance night.
