My son is shooting a music video and wanted his head floating through the woods. My video manipulation skills are at the “barely passable” stage, so cgi was out and green screen was in! This suit and a green screen, combined with green gloves and green socks (more on this below ) gave us the effect he was looking for!If you’re buying this for a costume, it would be ok to wear out. It’s relatively thick and I didn’t find it to be see-through at all.Notes about sizing:I ordered based on the sizing chart. He is 5’11”, 170 lbs, so I got the xl. wish I had sized up, because it’s a little tight on him and a little short in feet and arms—not very comfortable without modifications for him. That said, it fit me a little baggy, as expected, and it fit my husband like a glove even though he is about the same height and weight as our son. That's my husband in the photo, before we made any modifications to the suit.On to our modifications (which probably are not necessary for most people):This suit has built in “gloves” that fit fine on my large-ish female hands and on my husband’s hands (he wears a large or xl in men’s gloves). I feel like they have enough stretch that they’ll fit the average person of any gender, but my son has unusually large hands, so we had to cut the hands off for him.We also snipped open the toes because he has ridiculously long feet. Note that the legs are shaped like tubes with the ends sewn shut—there are no predefined feet areas or darts in the heels. This isn’t necessarily a negative. I feel like this design would work fine for most people with an average foot size, but I’m not joking about his feet being huge—we have to special order his shoes! I mention all of this so if you, too, have super big hands and feet, you’ll know this suit can still fit well with minor modifications.In the end, he survived without any mishaps though. He endured gentle ribbing from me while we all laughed, although I did hear “the things I do for art” and “this is the cost of beauty” a few times.
